Costco membership deal: Get $45 in free credit and save all holiday season long
The holidays are a fun, but expensive time for many of us. Whether you plan to go all out or just want to save on the bare essentials, a department store like Costco can be a huge help. And with early Black Friday deals popping up everywhere, you can save even more. Right now StackSocial has a great offer which means you can get a one year Costco Gold Star membership for $65 and get a $45 gift card back. That credit is ideal given the amount of money we spend at this time of year. You basically only pay $20 for membership. Alternatively, you can go for the Executive Gold Star Membership for $130 and you get the same amount on a gift voucher.
If you want to take advantage of this offer, we recommend that you make your purchase as early as possible. Please note that it is only available to new customers or customers whose membership has expired for more than 18 months. If you’ve been thinking about getting an annual Costco membership, this deal puts more money back in your pocket.
Hey, did you know? CNET Deals copy is free, easy, and saves you money.
With a Costco Gold Star subscription, you get one membership card for your household. This allows you to shop at any Costco warehouse worldwide, as well as online at Costco.com. While Costco is a great place to save on groceries and other daily essentials, it offers much more. A Gold Star membership also means you can use Costco’s gas stations and pharmacies, as well as Costco’s optical and hearing aid centers. Costco also often has seasonal plants, decor, furniture, electronics and other products.
The Executive Gold Star membership adds a 2% annual reward of up to $1,250 and additional benefits and discounts on select Costco services. If you shop at Costco a lot, or use those extra services, it may make sense to go for the more expensive membership.
After you sign up, you will receive your bonus shopping card by email within two weeks. The card can be used both in store and online, so you can use it straight away. Keep in mind that after paying through StackSocial, you have until January 31, 2025 to redeem the membership at Costco or you may not be able to take advantage of the deal. StackSocial recommends that you redeem this deal early if you decide to go for this deal.
