‘Costs more than my salary,’ people say as couple shares ‘dramatic’ gender reveal
A COUPLE have sparked controversy online after their gender reveal was shared on social media.
Planners of the Miami gender reveal party recently showed off the dramatic set-up and people were stunned by the party.

In the clip, the parents can be seen standing on a small platform in the middle of a field waiting for the unveiling.
The platform was decorated with two giant bears on either side of a large TV screen and green and yellow balloons.
Four huge sparkler machines were positioned along the platform to add extra glitz and glamour to the event.
The couple walked to the center of the stage, where a TNT explosive detonator was visible, and they pushed it to get the party started.

As soon as they did, there was a huge explosion of fireworks and smoke bombs to announce the gender of their child.
Blue smoke came out and the couple and their family and friends soon saw that they were having a baby boy.
The bride and groom and their friends embraced as they celebrated the news.
“The world’s best gender reveal,” the company captioned the post.
While everyone in the video seemed to be focused on the gender of the new child, people who watched the clip were left wondering how much money they actually had.
People couldn’t believe how dramatic the party was and how much it must have cost.
The clip quickly went viral on the TikTok account @gender reveal miami with over 10 million views and 1.2 million likes.
People were shocked by the dramatic scene and shared their thoughts in the comments.
Someone wrote: “Brooo, the confetti alone told me how broke I am.”
Another noted, “That probably cost more than my annual salary.”

The gender reveals are getting bigger and more elaborate by the day as people are constantly thinking of ways to outdo their predecessors.

The wrestler and YouTuber and her fiancée Nina Agdal hosted a public wrestling match to reveal their gender.
A wrestler in pink swimsuit competed against a wrestler in blue. The wrestler in pink came out on top, meaning they were having a girl.
Inga Stumbriënne
The Lithuanian influencer rented planes to fly through the sky as she, her fiancé and their loved ones looked on.
A shower of blue confetti was dropped from the plane, revealing that the couple were having a boy, but people continued to insist that this was the ‘most polluted’ gender reveal ever.
Anonymous couple
One of the most recent, jaw-dropping gender reveals came in May 2024, when a couple decided to PAIN a waterfall to reveal whether they were having a boy or a girl.
After the videos circulated on social media, the public demanded that the couple be punished, with some suggesting they go to jail.
Others were concerned about the contamination of the water, as the pair had used a chemical powder known as “Blue Lagoon” in the Queima-Pe River, which feeds the waterfall.
“They own the word RICH,” wrote a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth said, “Oh, if only it were that rich.”
“How can people get so much money?” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “I want to be that dramatic.”
