The Crocodile Dundee star, 85, was chatting with Today Show Entertainment Editor Richard Wilkins On Wednesday about a new cut from the iconic film.

‘Hoges’, who now lives in the US, admitted that he would like to take a permanent step back, but he remains for his youngest son Chance, 27.

“It is where I hear at home,” he answered when he was asked what it was like to be back in Australia to promote the film.

When he was asked for an update about the condition of his restless son, he said: “Okay. Better than he gets.

“He gets a lot of tabloid, but he is a terrible person because he knows they are keeping an eye on him and he puts something on for them.”

Chance is his son with second wife Linda Kozlowski, his Crocodile Dundee Co star.

He also has five children with his first wife Noelene Edwards: Brett, Clay, Scott, Todd and Lauren.

Chance led most recently concerned about his well -being in January.

The 27-year-old shared videos with his Instagram stories in which he drank wine and lurking his words while he was in public at a table.
