A pair of adorable Border Collies cuddling up to each other, surrounded by beautiful flowers, is one of the sweetest portraits a photographer has ever captured in the fields of Slovakia.
Breeds such as the Australian Shepherd and Dalmatian were also spotted posing or running through the fields while being portrayed by professional pet photographer Veronika Shandor.
We saw a Dalmatian peer through the flowers and look straight into the camera lens, while a seven-year-old Border Collie looked adorable as he rested his chin on a bed of petals.
Other portraits showed cute puppies snuggling together or jumping excitedly through the flowers with their tongues out.
Ms Shandor, an award-winning photographer from Bratislava, Slovakia, said: “I love capturing the true nature of dogs, especially when my photos bring a smile to the dog owner’s face,” she said.
‘I love it when dogs behave naturally and enjoy the photoshoot.
‘While photographing I make sure that the dog model enjoys the process and is not even aware that he/she is being photographed.
Sometimes it takes longer to get the perfect shot, while other times the photo shoot is completed in a few minutes.
Ms Shandor, who won the FEP International Awards in the domesticated animals category in April, added: ‘I have two dogs of my own, a blue merle and a red merle border collie, who are my partners in crime and great models.’
