Roll out the red carpet and doll the champagne, it’s time for the final season prices of Dream Team!
We have a total of eight gongs to hand out, so let’s break through.
Best newcomer
Our first prize goes to the most impactful new addition and so only players who for the first time this season decorate Dream team eligible.
A mention for Noussair Mazraoui who, despite the misery of Manchester United, will end the campaign as the sixth best defender.
The Morocco International has passed a Mount Defensive Work and made 177 tackles in all competitions – the highest count among all players.
For a while it seemed as if Marco Asensio would claim this prize, because he scored eight goals in the room of seven games shortly after he had approved a loan movement to Aston Villa in January.
Unfortunately, the points of the Spaniard dried up in the last two months of the season.
And so our winner is Omar Marmoush!
The expensive acquisition of Man City Frustrated Dream Team -Bosses in the FA Cup final, but he is different from eight goals and three assists with a rate of one target involvement every 141.4 minutes since his transfer of Frankfurt.
The Egyptian attacker ends the season with an average of 6.3 points per match and there is a feeling that he could yield large numbers in 2025/26.
Winner: Omar Marmoush
Surprise package
Several players made our shortlist for this with Jacob Murphy, Brennan Johnson and Chris Wood all well above expectations.
It would be appropriate to give the prize to a representative of Nottingham Forest, given their transformation from relegation tens to Hopefuls from Champions League, but there can only be one winner in the big schedule of things.
Daniel Munoz was the only defender who earned 300+ points this term and exceeds the will of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Josko Gvardiol, Pedro Porro and Virgil van Dijk of the rankings in his position.
This is an extraordinary performance since Crystal Palace had no European obligations to strengthen their schedule.
The Colombian wing-back was a beast in defense (17 clean sheets, 152 tackles) and a huge threat in attack (six goals, eight assists).
It will be very interesting to see how he is going next season.
Winner: Daniel Munoz
Best value-for-money
Munoz could also have easily achieved this price, but we have decided to recognize Morgan Rogers’ efforts to share love.
After he had been a Bit piece player in 2023/24, the former Middlesbrough midfielder settled as one of the most trusted assets in Unai Emery from the beginning this season.
Rogers started the season with only £ 2.5 million and was even available than that after a relatively slow start, but he soon became a fantastic enabler.
Once he started converting his talent into points, he essentially became a must-have player because his bargain prize allowed heavy investments in the will of Erling Haaland, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer and Mohamed Salah.
When everything was said and done, Rogers achieved 318 points via 14 goals and 16 assists to end as the fourth best midfielder of Dream Team.
He will certainly not start at £ 2.5 million next season!
Winner: Morgan Rogers
Mostly overlooked
This prize goes to the player who, no matter how hard they tried, simply could not convince dream team managers that they were worth a place in a competitive XI.
For whatever reason, different players were overlooked for months by the vast majority of the Gaffers despite their unmistakably impressive returns.
Youri Tielemans brought most of the season through the highly ranked midfielders (thanks to his extensive bonus point count), but his property remained modest everywhere – perhaps because the aforementioned Rogers treated the luminaires of Villa nicely.
Elsewhere, only six players had on average more points per game than Jarrod Bowen (7.7), but most Dream Team bosses refused to entertain the idea of recruiting everyone who is associated with West Ham.
Our winner, however, is none other than Matheus Cunha.
Admittedly, the disciplinary problems of the Brazilian were a point of care, but even when he was available and on his best, about 97% of the Gaffers were happy to go without him.
Only Salah and Haaland were on average more points per game than Cunha in 2024/25-one incredible statistics.
It is suspected that he will appear in many, many more teams when he joins Manchester United.
Winner: Matheus Cunha
Diamond in rough
This prize acknowledges a striking person who flourished in the dream team, despite the broader shortcomings of their team.
The aforementioned Cunha and Bowen belonged to the nominees, just like various Tottenham players before the victory in the Europa League final changed the entire complexion of their season.
But Bruno Fernandes is clearly the most deserving winner.
The Portuguese playmaker collected 443 points (only Salah earned more) via 19 goals and 20 assists while representing a team that eventually ended 15th in the competition and no trophies to show for their extracurricular activities.
Where would the Red Devils be without him?
Winner: Bruno Fernandes
The Brexit Award
To be eligible for the Brexit Award, players must have nothing to do with Europe.
In other words, only those who have not participated in the Champions League, Europa League of Conference League are eligible.
Again, Munoz is in the conversation, but three players earned even more points than Palace’s Wing-back without European luminaires: Ebereechi Eze, Bryan Mbeumo and Alexander Isak.
The Star of Newcastle has scored the most points (340) of the plot 27 goals, but in view of the spirit of the prize, we believe that the Talisman of Brentford is worth the most.
While Isak and Eze benefited from the successes of domestic cup, Mbeumo was limited to only three Carabao Cup trips and one FA Cup performance.
The Cameroon International was phenomenal in the Premier League all season.
Depending on what Palmer does in the final of the Conference League, Mbeumo will finish second or third under Dream Team – Middendelders – an excellent effort.
Winner: Bryan Mbeumo
Great flop
In general we prefer to celebrate the most successful players, but it would fail to completely ignore the dark side of the dream team.
Emile Smith Rowe was initially one of the most popular midfielders in play after his transfer from Arsenal to Fulham, but the 24-year-old generally only delivered 135 points, less than Bilal El Khannouss, Lewis Cook and Adama Traore.
During his heyday, Raheem Sterling once finished as the top performance of the dream team for the season, but he scored only one goal for Arsenal in 2024/25 and became a clou among the Emirates Faithful.
Elsewhere, Darwin Nunez has worked to have only 3.6 points per match on average and to represent the best team in the country.
The most disappointing element in Dream Team this season, however, was the serious drop-off of Manchester City.
The side of Pep Guardiola recovered to finish third in the competition, but as a collective they offered much fewer points than Gaffers expecting.
Erling Haaland and Josko Gvardiol were worthy of their popularity, but there is a lot that Phil Foden was the third highest points of City, because most of them would agree that the international of England was under par.
The FA Cup finalists gave 71 goals in all competitions, so that the viability of their defensive assets was seriously damaged.
Gvardiol was even the only city converter in the top 30, far away from previous seasons.
Winner: The defense of Man City (excluding gvardiol)
Most valuable player (MVP)
We end with the most prestigious prize and the clearest winner.
Mohamed Salah was already a dream team legend, but this season he reached an alien level.
When Liverpool’s hero raced against Brighton in Gamweek 37, he made the 57 goal statements for the campaign in all competitions!
This obscene count was the main reason why he ended up like a Quintuple Centurion, with 503 points to his name to be precise – Bruno Fernandes was the only other player who achieved 400+ points.
Simply put, Salah was in his own competition.
Winner: Mohamed Salah
Who knows what starting price the Egyptian superstar earns in 2025/26 …
