Boxing legend David Haye has set his sights on an acting career after making his film debut.
The former heavyweight world champion, 44, plays under the gun, a short crime Flick who premieres next month.
David – also famous for His Throuple relationships – has always had the wish to forge a career in acting after he hung his gloves in 2018.
Of his new career, David said: “Acting is a discipline, just like box – Feeding and preparation is needed to deliver.
“I hope that the viewing public will receive my acting and that they have supported my boxing career.”
Under the gun is planned to be shown in the British urban Film Festival on June 25.
David functions In addition to the crown and pirates of the Caribbean actor Kevin McNally.
A description of the film on the website of the festival says: “Deep in the criminal lower abdomen of London, two detectives are participating in a poker game where the bet is higher than they had ever thought.”
Speaking of his acting ambitions in 2016, David said: “If I retired in two or three years, I would like to become an actor.
“I want to reach the heights in acting that I have reached in boxing – although that is a tough question, I know. I have to start all over again.”
He added: “But I have always loved film and I think I would be a great actor.
‘I look at someone like Will Smithwho came out of music, or Dwayne Johnsonwho came from wrestle – He did a great job and really learned his profession.
“I would like the credibility to be recognized as a very good actor, I don’t just want cameo roles.”
David has a long -term relationship with the model Sian Osborne.
The couple has previously welcomed other women in their romance – including the Saturday singer Unennay Healy.
