De Grey, Western Australia: Toddler dead, five adults injured in horrific rollover crash on remote highway

A toddler has died and five adults were injured in a single-vehicle accident on a highway.

The group were in a Holden Captiva when it veered off the road on an access road to the Great Northern Highway in De Grey, Western Australia, at 10.50pm on Wednesday evening.

The vehicle then drove away while emergency services arrived on the scene.

A three-year-old girl was found seriously injured and died.

Three men and two women were only slightly injured.

Major crash investigators are on site investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
