A football club is in mourning after a popular player fell his death from a bar on the roof in Adelaide.

Mario Bacaj, 28, had to play for the Adelaide Eagles Soccer Club on 15 June, but around 10.15 am in the group chat of the team he felt unwell and could not play.

Bacaj had lived in Adelaide for a few years, worked and studied and was about to obtain his building permit.

A spokeswoman for 2kw bar and restaurant told News Corp They were ‘deeply saddened by the incident’.

It is understood that Bacaj only went to the location and his death is not treated as suspicious.
