Disneyland fans are complaining that the new water attraction is too WET
Disneyland fans who have ridden Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are having problems with the wetness of the new attraction.
“This ride always came with the warning that ‘you might get wet,’ but even people familiar with Splash Mountain said they weren’t expecting so much water on the ride,” according to a MousePlanet review.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland is open for thrill seekers and water enthusiasts starting November 15.
In anticipation of the attraction’s official opening, park employees and guests who are Disneyland Magic Key holders have been granted early ride access.
The attraction left many social media users happy with the renovation of what used to be Splash Mountain, but one rider said they didn’t enjoy the “unimpressive” and “disappointing” ride.
Several Disneyland guests complained about the wet riders in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Prior to the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Disney previously ordered the leveling of the Splash Mountain flume rides in 2020, finding their references to the 1946 film Song of the South “not appropriate in today’s world.”
After waiting to finally try the ride, the X-user said Disneyland’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was a miss for their family, despite Tiana being one of their “top three princesses.”
“You used to get a little fluid when you went down the big drop,” the X user tweeted.
“But they reweighted the cars and adjusted the water so that there is inches of water in the bottom of the car when you get in and you’re soaked by the end.”
The social media user added that they had all bought ponchos before heading out, but their shoes and bodies were still soaked.
‘We would only do this again if we could completely change clothes or run back to a hotel room on site. It’s not fun for us,” the unhappy attraction ride wrote.
A MousePlanet writer claimed that their friend forgot an extra pair of shoes and had to walk in soggy socks and shoes until the end of the day.
At least three X users were upset about the ride in general and not just the wetness.
“Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is such an insult to Tiana’s character,” said one X user tweeted.
‘The Disney princess with the most guts and personality is reduced to someone who forgot to book a band for her party. Total joke.’

Social media users either praised the ride or complained about its wetness and design
Other X users raved about the thrill ride, with several fans claiming they had ridden Tiana’s Bayou Adventure more than once.
A Disneyland guest claimed that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was “even faster” than Splash Mountain.
However, that X user has a disability and admitted to forgetting how a ride can beat up someone’s body.
‘Would I drive it again? Probably not, although not because of the new theme, but because my body can no longer handle it,” she wrote.
Another X user wrote: “Honestly, Disneyland’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure facade looks much better than Walt Disney World’s version.”
A park guest claimed that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction in California is indeed wetter than the one in Florida Screaming landscape.
‘Based on a few video clips, the California experience is wetter than ever before when it ran as Splash Mountain, with some of the tree trunks appearing to be completely submerged after the big splash, to the point that your shoes could be completely submerged to stand. for a while,” they wrote.
‘The word is that the speed of the water flow was also adjusted around this time, to speed up the logs’ journey through the attraction in an attempt to compensate for the lost physical capacity of each log, which would also have had the side effect of increasing the amount of ‘splash’ as the faster logs crashed through the course.”
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened on June 28 at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened on June 28 at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida.
The ride, which is based on Tiana’s storyline from The Princess and the Frog, replaced Disney World’s Splash Mountain.
Due to the wetness, Disneyland recommends that guests riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure rent a locker to keep their belongings dry.
Riders can also purchase a poncho, waterproof phone case or towel at the Louis’ Citter Club gift shop in Bayou Country.
Other items that can help dry out items are Ziploc or resealable plastic bags.
