DIY Fan Transforms Kitchen Cabinets in Seconds by Replacing Handles with 55p Versions
It is understandable that you do not want to do any work in and around the house yourself.
Hammering and breaking down walls is not for everyone.
But now that the cost of living has dropped so much that we’re becoming more conscious of our spending, outsourcing money to a professional to remodel your kitchen may be at the bottom of your list.
Fortunately, there are other small changes you can make to your home that don’t require tearing down walls.
And a do-it-yourselfer has a trick for the kitchen.
Susan Harte, who posted a photo of her kitchen transformation in the Facebook group called Extreme Couponing and Bargains UKrevealed she only spent a few pounds.
She bought some door handles from the cheap online store Temu.
She shared a photo of her kitchen doors and wrote: “Handles from Temu… very pleased with them, 55p each… come with screws.”
The large black handles, screwed into white cabinet doors, give her kitchen a new look.
The photo received 400 likes and more than 120 people responded in the comments to share their thoughts.
One of them said: “Sometimes the wait is worth it, the handles look great.”
Another added: “Some things are worth waiting for.”
Some couldn’t believe the door handles only cost 55p each, while others wondered why they hadn’t looked at door handles on the Temu website before.
Another found similar usernames on the website of online retailer Shien.
The handles start at 64mm and go up to 160mm.
And many tagged their friends in the photo to share the clever DIY trick.
