The Trump government has called California governor Gavin Newsom and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) prior to a post-season track-and-field meeting with a transgender athlete.
The athlete in question, who switched from male to female, goes to Jurupa Valley High School and will compete this weekend in the high jump, triple jump and long jump.
Julie Hartman, a spokeswoman for the Department of Education, has issued a statement in which the CIF explodes to allow the athlete to compete.
Hartman also had the problems with the CIF who reportedly told Cisgender competitors to remove T-shirts that load ‘Girls Sports Protect Girls-Sport’. The Trump government has launched a federal title IX research into the CIF for policy with which transgender athletes can compete in sports in high school.
‘CIFs and Jurupa Valley High School’s apparent flouting of federal civil rights legislation by allowing a male athlete to compete in a female track and field in California [Southern Sectional Division 3 Final] This Saturday, and the alleged retribution against the girls protesting against this, cannot be recognized, “Hartman said Fox News Digital.
It is not clear how many transgender athletes compete in sport at the level of high school. At the university level, NCAA President Charlie Baker testified that he knew less than ten trans -athes of more than 510,000. The NCAA would later prohibit transatletes.

In response to Hartman’s statement, the Jurupa Unified School District told Fox: “JUSD continues to follow both the Californian law and the CIF policy with regard to school athletics.
‘Both the state law and the CIF policy currently require students to participate in athletic teams and competitions that are consistent with their gender identity, regardless of the gender stated on the student’s data.
“JUSD continues to protect himself to protect the rights and safety of the students we serve, in accordance with the applicable national and federal laws.”
The CIF has vocal opposition to the executive order of the Trump government to set up a ban on transgender athletes in sport.
Three Christian schools in California – Jserra Catholic, Orange Lutheran and Crean Lutheran – sent a joint letter to the CIF last week.
The three schools, all of which live in Republican Congress districts in Orange County, told the institution that its policy promotes an environment that is increasingly hostile to religious members’ schools. ‘
“The expectation of CIF that all faith-based schools facilitate the CIF gender identity policy brings religious schools in the untenable position to adhere to the principles of their beliefs in their classrooms and communities that are contrary to their faith in their athletic fields,” read the letter.

As FOX News reporting drawings have, the Transatleet in question has won events in which they participated in Cisgender women. Athletes who have been vocally against the inclusion of this athlete have also defeated the transcurrans of the events.
The CIF admitted that civil servants that athletes took out the shirts of ‘Protect Girls Sports’ and said they were not complying with the standard clothing policy.
‘According to the CIF Southern Section Playoff Bulletin, all athletes must be dressed in the right, school published, track -uniforms.
“The student athletes were asked to meet this, while in the event area on the field, because they wore the shirts about their uniform issued by school,” the CIF said in a statement.
