Don’t Spend Money on Fancy Decor – My Dollar Tree DIY Looks Like Tom Ford
A DIYer shared how she gave her home a luxurious upgrade using affordable items from Dollar Tree.
She explained that she could have created an interior that rivaled Tom Ford’s, but without the high price tag.

Essence (@verbeterdbyessence) shared the Dollar Tree DIY tips in a viral TikTok video.
“Girl, you don’t have to spend a lot of money on fancy decorations,” she said.
She went shopping at her local Dollar Tree and bought fake pink flowers, a gift box, and some Styrofoam for $1.25 each.
The supplies cost her only $3.75 total.
When she got home, she put all the stuff on her porch and started spraying her gift box with some black paint.
She noted that viewers can choose whatever color their heart desires.
She then spray painted her plastic flowers a deeper shade of pink.
Essence opened the gift box, filled it with Styrofoam and added the cut flowers she had purchased.

She printed out a printed Tom Ford logo and stuck it to the front of her gift box with some GOT2B hairspray.
“Guys, I’m out of glue, but guess what? If it can hold a wig, it can hold paper,” she joked.

People thanked her for the creative project idea and praised her for thinking along on the spot.
