Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date leaks ahead of official reveal
The release date for Dragon Age: The Veil Guard has been leaked online.
This comes just hours after BioWare officially announced that it has changed the launch date for its fourth Dragon Age game in a new trailer going live later today.
Unfortunately, a fragment of the alleged trailer leaked earlier and is now circulating online. According to the end of the footage, Dragon Age: The Veil Guard will be released on October 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
The 21-second video features a montage of footage previously seen in the first gameplay demo released earlier this summer. However, it’s likely that the first half of the new announcement trailer will showcase a new look for fans.
The final screen also states that pre-orders will go live after the trailer is released. BioWare has since confirmed this on social media.
You can watch the official trailer with the release date reveal here at 5:00 PM BST / 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 PM EST.
In addition to a release date for the game, BioWare also shared a roadmap with weekly highlights about the game, each offering a more in-depth look at The veil keeper in the run-up to the official launch.
Fans can expect new gameplay footage next week that will showcase “high-level combat” on PC, as well as an introduction to The veil keeper‘s characters in “Companions Week”, and more.
Dragon Age: The Veil Guard is still a few months away, but BioWare has been preparing for its launch all summer. Last week, the studio confirmed that the upcoming RPG will not feature a tactical camera and will not let players control companions.
