Dreame X40 Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Auto Emptying System Launched in India

Dreame X40 Ultra has been launched in India as the company’s latest robot vacuum cleaner that comes with a mopping function. The new flagship from the Xiaomi-backed brand features a self-cleaning mop and auto-emptying system with 12,000Pa suction power. The new robot vacuum cleaner comes in a round shape with a raised portion on top that houses the laser-based navigation system. It uses an RGB camera with AI and 3D structured light. The Dreame X40 Ultra houses a 6,400mAh battery and can be controlled remotely using the Dreamehome app or a paired voice assistant.

Dreame X40 Ultra Price in India

Dreame X40 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,29,999 in India and will be available for purchase through Amazon. It comes with a one-year warranty. The robot vacuum cleaner and mop combo will be available at a special promotional price of Rs. 99,999 during the upcoming Great Indian Festival sale. The sale will open for all buyers on September 27, after Amazon Prime subscribers got early access on September 26.

Dreame X40 Ultra Specifications, Features

The recently launched Dreame vacuum cleaner features a built-in RGB camera and 3D structured light technology for obstacle detection. It creates a detailed map of the room on four levels for cleaning and can reportedly identify and avoid up to 120 types of objects, including shoes, cables and more.

The Dreame X40 Ultra features a cloudiness sensor that ensures mops are rewashed when necessary and has an anti-tangle TriCut rubber brush to remove hair, pet hair, dust and larger dirt. The self-cleaning machine comes with 12,000Pa suction power.

The vacuum cleaner features dual rotating mops to vacuum and mop your home. The side brush can be lifted up to 10.5mm and can be extended to reach corners of walls and curved furniture legs. This feature is said to prevent cross-contamination between dry and wet messes. The robot can extend its mop up to 4cm. It has a 3.2-liter dust bag and the machine only needs to be emptied once every 75 days, according to the advertisement.

Users can customize their cleaning tasks with the compatible Dreamehome app. Users can set no-go zones and virtual walls for scheduling. There is a new curtain zone in the app that helps clean under curtains without getting stuck to them. The Dreame X40 Ultra also supports Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri.

The Dreame X40 Ultra base station provides automatic dust container emptying, hot water cleaning of the mop (70 degrees Celsius), self-cleaning washboard, automatic drying of the mop and refilling of both water and cleaning solution. The fresh and used water tanks have a capacity of 4.5 liters. After cleaning, the rotating mops are blow-dried with warm air for two hours. The Dreame X40 Ultra has a 6,400 mAh battery.
