Dream Team managers dump some of the most popular stars of the game prior to Gameweek 36.

At the time of writing, Alexander Isak (£ 5.7 million), Mohamed Salah (£ 6.8 million) and Bukayo Saka (£ 6 million) are the three most transferred players this week.

These are seismic transfers, as everyone is one of the most successful assets in the game.

This season, Salah is the outright best performer with no fewer than 489 points to his name, while Isak is fourth in general with 336 points.

Saka missed three months of the campaign with a hamstring injury, but is still in ninth place under Middelders-Alleen Bruno Fernandes (£ 7 million) and Bryan Mbeumo (£ 4.6 million) on average more points per match in his position.

Needless to say, no Gaffer players from this pedigree should replace for no good reason.

Neither Liverpool, Newcastle nor Arsenal belong to the select group of teams with two games to fulfill this coming game week and so it makes sense that some bosses of Dream Team turn their back on the above names to recruit ebereechi eze (£ 5.1 m), £ 7.8m.

The magpies will visit the Emirates this Sunday in which is unmistakably a difficult match on paper, which is why their Swedish striker loses popularity.

However, it is worth remembering that Isak has already scored two goals this season against the Gunners, one in the competition and another in the Carabao Cup.

The fact that the headline matches on Sunday are second to third place is clearly a factor in the decreasing property of Saka, but Gaffers who follow this path can be guilty of short-sightedness.

Arsenal’s No7 may have a difficult game in Gameweek 36, but he will finish the season with a trip to Southampton in Gameweek 37.

In short, it is probably worth staying through Saka for the Newcastle game with a view to focusing on the road to Southampton, so that valuable transfers are better used that are better used for other people.

As far as Salah is concerned, it might be easier to let go despite his enormously impressive record of 33 goals and 23 assists in 2024/25.

The truth is told, the Egyptian superstar has been demolished in recent weeks.

A goal at home for Spurs and an assist against West Ham are his only target involvement since mid -March, for a period of nine games.

With the Premier League triumph from Liverpool, Salah and Company in the party mode – De Ploeg flew to Dubai for some rest and relaxation prior to the match of Monday evening against Brighton.

The productive 32-year-old clearly has the capacity to punish Gaffers who dump him, but replaced him with a more motivated alternative with an extra fixture is a justified decision.

It will be interesting to see how the last two game week of the season have taken place now that a considerable part of the Gaffers has decided to get rid of the most striking players of the game.

Removing Isak, Salah and Saka can train, but all three have the opportunity to make their doubters look very foolish.
