A SAVVY woman has revealed a great hack to dry clothes in a washing machine with ease.

Although dry cleaning can be a lengthy and expensive process, the smart tip will mimic the same effects while saving time and money.

Hazel McKinnie, from cleaning company Wee Scotty Cleaners, shared a clip on TikTok revealing the amazing hack.

She said in the video, “I’m going to show you one of these settings on this machine.

“It’s a Beko. I’ve had a lot of expensive washing machines and I love Beko.”

Hazel then puts a three-piece suit in the washing machine before putting in a washing capsule.

The expert joked: “Who would have thought you could tuck in your trousers? I have a suit jacket and I have a three-piece men’s suit. This just says dry cleaning, but I’m going to show you a little suit trick.”

Hazel, who often posts such great cleaning tips on her TikTok account, has adjusted the setting to delicates, changing it to a spin setting of 800 rpm, on a 40 degree wash cycle.

“That’s all I want,” she said and waited for the cycle to end.

After the laundry was done, she shared the end result in the video, saying: “The laundry is done and the clothes washed up fantastic.

“Now all I have to do is hang them in a warm room and they will come up beautifully.

“All you need might be a little steam.”

According to Hazel, the hack mimics the effects of dry cleaning without actually performing the process, allowing users to save some money on energy bills.

Although she uses a Beko washing machine, the same setting can also be found on other appliances from different brands.

So her hack could work on different machines.

It comes after a cleaner shared a hack to easily dry clothes in winter.

Lynsey Crombie, also known as the Queen of Clean, shared her tip on social media, leaving many very impressed.

In the short clip, we saw Lynsey putting her laundry in the washing machine.

She then turned the dial to ‘spin and drain’ before pressing start.

The cleaning lady then said, “Don’t forget that extra twist.

“The extra spin helps to remove as much water as possible from your laundry.

“[It will] reduces drying time, especially when washing heavy items such as jeans, towels and bedding.”

Lynsey used the Hotpoint washing machine and then advised: “Give it a try.”

So for those who are reluctant to turn on their dryer, but don’t want to wait days for their clothes to dry out, you’ll want to give this simple trick a try.

Meanwhile, another clever woman revealed a 65p laundry hack that removes nasty food smells and sweat from your clothes in just one wash.

Elsewhere, another woman said she can dry a full load of laundry in just two hours. thanks to her new gadget.

She also claimed that it reduces mold and also warms her home.

Post to Facebook, op Mrs Hinch cleaning tipsa public group with a whopping 333,300 members, Anthea Little explained that she uses a Meaco dehumidifier to get her laundry dry in no time.

She raved about her gadget and said: “I posted about dehumidifiers for drying laundry and preventing black mold in our flat because I was in the dilemma of which one to buy.

“Today we received our lovely little Meaco dehumidifier and I am over the moon!

“A full load of laundry dried within two hours (usually takes two days and stinks!).

“There is no condensation anywhere in the flat and it certainly alerts the room.”

And a mother-of-two shared the must-have purchase that will help you dry your clothes in winter without the need for a tumble dryer.

So if you want to cut costs where possible and try to stop using your dryer, you need to listen up.
