EA Sports FC 25 launches later this year and will feature football star Jude Bellingham on the cover
EA Sports has announced the official release date for EA Sport FC 25and also the star on the cover.
EA Sport FC 25 will be released on September 27, 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
For this latest instalment, Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham graces the cover of the Standard Edition, while Bellingham features on the Ultimate Edition alongside other football stars including Aitana Bonmatí, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Gianluigi Buffon.
Pre-orders are also available now, but players have until August 20th to pre-order the Ultimate Edition and receive rewards for a limited time. These rewards include an untradeable Hero or ICON Player Item in EA Sport FC 24 Ultimate Team from the ‘Greats of the Game’ campaign, as well as an untradeable Hero Player Item in EA Sport FC 25 Ultimate Team with an enhanced ‘Prime’ version, coming in November.
EA Sport FC 25 will introduce a number of new changes to the series. For starters, Career mode will feature women’s football for the first time. The game will also feature several modes, which EA Sports has already provided details on.
There’s 5v5 Rush, which is described as “a new way to play with friends in Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off,” and will replace Volta, featuring “fast-paced, small-team gameplay.”
FC IQ has undergone a major overhaul to provide greater strategic control and realism in team building, as well as a new AI model ‘powered by real data’ that ‘influences player tactics through entirely new player roles’.
Ultimate Team is also getting changes, with players now able to use Manager Items, customize Evolution items, and duplicate items with a new dual storage mechanic.
Developer EA has parted ways with FIFA in 2022, which means that the use of the FIFA the name of the company’s video game series had to be changed. FIFA23 was the last match in the thirty-year series of FIFA-branded EA titles, formerly EA Sport FC 24 was released last year, making it the first installment in the recently renamed series.
