‘Emily in Paris’ Season 4, Part 2: Release Date and Time

Netflix’s hit comedy series Emily in Paris returned last month, but in a not-so-classy move, a few episodes were cut from the original drop.

Season 4, Part 1 invited the audience back into Emily’s stylish, male-filled orbit. Five episodes into the season, the social media maven is dating Gabriel instead of her former boyfriend, Alfie. But there’s a third party involved in the relationship: Camille knows she’s not pregnant with Gabriel’s baby, and she hasn’t yet shared that crucial information with Em or the would-be father. Plus, a questionable skin-care product could prove problematic in Part 2.

In the background, Emily in Paris follows the feisty title character, who moves from Chicago to Paris after her employer acquires the luxury marketing firm Savoir. After three (and a half) seasons and multiple love interests, Emily has opted for a life in Paris, working with her old Savoir colleagues at Agence Grateau. Here’s when you can catch the second half of Season 4, plus an official trailer foreshadowing a Roman vacation.

When to watch part 2 on Netflix

Italy awaits in Season 4 Part 2, which is scheduled to be released on Thursday, September 12th. All five episodes should be available at midnight PT (3 a.m. ET).

Netflix costs between $7 and $23 per month, depending on your plan. The $7 option is ad-supported, but all plans give you access to Emily in Paris. For more information about the streaming service, check out our review.

Watch the trailer for season 4, part 2

Emily is in Rome in the trailer for Season 4, Part 2. Seemingly over her current love triangle with Gabriel and Camille, she takes on the role of a new Italian character, Marcello. The trailer also features a smiling Alfie, a performing Mindy, and a new American employee at Agence Grateau named Genevieve.

What happened in season 4, part 1?

Season 4 picks up after the Season 3 finale, where a few things were established: Camille and Gabriel aren’t getting married, Emily is in the thick of things, Alfie isn’t happy, and the biggest reveal: Camille and Gabriel are expecting a baby (more details on that wild episode here). The first five episodes of Season 4 see Emily and Alfie officially break up, and Emily moving in with the French chef.

While Emily and Gabriel may have taken that big step, Camille and Sofia—the Greek artist she had an affair with last season—reunite in Season 4, Part 1, but eventually break up. Plus, Luc’s girlfriend, Marianne, isn’t a Michelin inspector, which gets in the way of Gabriel’s dreams of a star. There will undoubtedly be two more moments that play a role in Part 2: Emily hiding the fact that a face cream endorsed by Agence Grateau can also be used as a lubricant, and Camille decides not to tell Gabriel what she recently discovered during a visit to the gynecologist: she’s never been pregnant.
