We already know that England will win. We know that Andorra is very unlikely that it scores.

And it would be an important surprise if Jordan Pickford Must make a single meaningful save.

Your life is too short to coordinate on Saturday at 5 p.m. and see this thing happen.

This is not an English arrogance. It is not jingoistic or tub-dumping to point out that Andorra has a population of 80,000 value it is slightly larger than the city of Bracknell but smaller than Weston-Super-Mare.

And that is why England, with his 57 million people, will always beat in a football match.

Andorra is a nice place in the Pyrenees, it is good for skiing and the Andorrans are rightly proud of their little nation state.

Not that they currently have a football stadium that is suitable for holding this world cup qualification, which is staged instead in the home base of Espanyol in Barcelona.

But with burnt -out players, the calendar drowned out with luminaires and with a monthly one World Cup Club Does anyone have to start, does anyone need this thing – Andorra versus England – to be part of our lives?

In the past 19 years, England has played Andorra six times and beaten 5-0, 3-0, 2-0, 6-0, 4-0 and 5-0.

The 3-0 in Barcelona was vague memorable because Steve MclararenProbably the craziest man ever to manage England, had a hissing fit and stormed out of the press conference after the game.

But even though I am in most of those competitions, I can’t remember anything about the rest of them.

So 4-0 for England will be about par, although almost everyone will say that 4-0 is not enough.

There can be a certain sadistic pleasure to witness an absolute stagnation – a nine or ten – but that will almost certainly not happen.

It is not that difficult for 11 fit young guys from lower tier EFL Standard – that is the level of Andorra – to sit behind the ball in a packaged defense, to block for 90 minutes and keep the score low, especially if they show zero ambition of actually scoring.

In almost 30 years as a recognized international football team, Andorra has never lost more than 7-0. They are not that bad.

In the past five years they have defeated colleague -Minnows San MarinoLiechtenstein, St Kitts & Nevis and Grenada.

Before that, Andorra Moldova, Macedonia, Albania and Belarus-Even if their one real striking result, defeated a 1-0 victory Hungary In 2017.

The Nation competition Has been excellent for smaller countries, which means they regularly get competitive football against countries of a similar size and teams of similar skills.

Andorra and other shipping stamp countries may not be fully excluded from the qualification of the World Cup-a pre-qualifying tournament or the results of the Nations League, could determine that one of them reaches the actual qualifying rounds.

But certainly something should give in the fixture schedule.

And if you are looking for a place to start cutting luminaires, what about competitions that nobody wants to watch and nobody wants to play?

The football players of England are tired. Very rich, yes, but also physically and mental cream -colored.

They don’t have to spend ten days of their lives preparing to play Andorra and then Senegal – that admitted, half neighborhood – in a competition in Nottingham next Tuesday that means absolutely nothing.

I sincerely hope that you have something better to do at 5 pm on Saturday than watch this competition.

And also that you have something better to do on September 6, when, only three months from now on, England will play Andorra again.

At one point we will all reach our star beds. And, please believe me, none of us will ever stare at that ultimate abyss, and wished we had spent more of our time watching England and playing football.
