Enjoy in style: why the Stanley Tumbler is the best gift for everyone
Paying over $30 for a water bottle seems extreme, but hear me out. About two years ago my friends got one Stanley IceFlow Flip Straw Tumbler in a beautiful rose quartz shade. (Unlike me, they’re geared toward trendy products.) So I put my skepticism aside, embraced the craze, and made the Stanley my water bottle of choice.
I admit that the cup is worth the hype – and yes, the relatively high price tag. And with gift-giving season upon us, Stanleys provide both a useful and beautiful gift that is likely to become an everyday part of the recipient’s life. Discounts on these cups can be hard to come by, but you can find them at Amazon for about $35.

I love the convenience of my Stanley tumbler
I’m a big fan of the IceFlow cup because of the handle on the top, which makes it easier to carry on walks or on the go. The built-in straw makes sipping a breeze, and unlike the more popular ones Quencher tumbler with the handle on the side it is leak-proof. (Though the Quencher is a solid choice, if you prefer that design.) I have the 30-ounce option, and it fits nicely in a cup holder and can hold plenty of water without being too bulky. And hey, if it’s trendy, so be it.
You shouldn’t get a Stanley just because influencers tell you to (or even because I’m telling you now). But if you want to gift someone a water bottle that not only looks sleek, but can also keep the water cold for a ridiculously long time (I had ice last night), then a Stanley might be the answer.
A Stanley hasn’t changed my life (even though apparently it can survive a car fire and keeping the water cold all the time), but I like to have a good quality bottle that encourages me to drink more water — and yes, we all need to drink more water. Sure, there are plenty of water bottles that will keep your ice water refreshingly cold, but of all the drinkware in my cupboards, this is the one I reach for the most – whether I’m staying hydrated at home or out and about. It meets all requirements when it comes to dimensions, quality and functionality.

Will there be Black Friday deals on the Stanley tumbler?
The Stanley IceFlow Tumbler is not as expensive as the Yeti Ramblerbut it’s also not the cheapest water bottle out there, so it’s good to keep an eye out for discounts on sites like Amazon and Target to make it more affordable. This way, your money – just like the ice-cold water in your Stanley – will last longer. While we rarely see discounts on Stanley’s water bottles, Black Friday is the best time of year to score one at a discount. We saw the price of the 30 ounce IceFlow Tumbler drop 13% during Prime Day in October, and we expect to see even bigger discounts for Black Friday.
