Erik ten Hag has been officially announced as the new manager of Bayer Leverkusen.
The Dutchman replaces Xabi Alonso, who is a three -year -old deal with Real Madrid on Monday.
Ten Hag was unemployed since leaving Manchester United in October.
Various clubs – including his beloved Ajax – reportedly approached him during his seven -month interruption.
But the 55-year-old has now committed himself to Bayer Leverkusen.
The former United Manager drew a two-year deal with Bayer last week, so he kept in the club until June 2027.
