Former Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky was brought to the hospital with heart problems after releasing a worrying explanation.
The Czech icon, 44, suffered in the fear of health last week while working in his role of sports director at Slavia Prague.
Rosicky was immediately taken to intensive care in a hospital in Prague.
And he is now being treated at home after doctors have decided that he did not need surgery.
Rosicky’s Club Sparta Prague confirmed the news in a worrying explanation.
It stated: “Our sports director, Tomas Rosicky, was unexpectedly admitted to the Intensive Care last Tuesday because of heart -related issues.
“Neither Tomas nor the club will announce further details. Fortunately, no operation was required. Tomas, you have our full support. We all think about you.
“Until this official announcement, only a few close members of the club and his family were aware of the situation.
“Given the seriousness of the case, both the club and the Tomas chose to communicate only in public after he was released at the end of last week.”
Rosicky himself commented on the situation and added: “As a player and sports director, I always entered everything. Full effort, no hesitation.
“But this situation has shown me that I should take better care of myself. Unfortunately, poor lifestyle habits, lack of physical activity and construction of the family brought me here.
“The good news is that I expect that I will make a complete recovery, although I am currently unable to perform the demanding responsibilities of a sports director.
“I will stay in touch with my colleagues, because we have always had surgery as a team. We have a clear vision, strategy and structured processes. The boys will ensure.”
