Ex-Conor McGregor Rival Jose Aldo withdraws from MMA after tormenting UFC 315 loss

Jose Aldo emotionally announced his second retirement of mixed martial arts after a controversial loss at UFC 315.
The Hall of Famer closed Hoorns with Aiemann Zahabi in a short-notice featherweight confrontation in Montreal In the early hours of Sunday morning.
The former long -sewing champion of 145 pounds rolled back into the competition for the years and threw several of the combinations for which he became famous in his career.
And the 38-year-old seemed on course to lift his hand after dropping Zahabi with a brutal main kick in the third round, which he followed with a running staircase against the face.

And the decision led an emotional Aldo to leave again in his career for a while.
He said: “I don’t think I have it more in me. It wasn’t just about cutting the weight and everything else.
“I just felt that so many things had happened. It was very difficult to go through all this.
“There was one point this week – this was a very tough week – that I felt that I didn’t have it in me, I didn’t want to cut it anymore.

“My body said no, and I just don’t think I have it more. I don’t always want to go into the war and go through it.
“I just don’t have it in my heart anymore. I think this is the last time you’re going to see me. I just can’t do this anymore.”
Brazilian icon Aldo is considered by many as the largest featherweight in UFC history.
He walked roughly through the WEC before it was absorbed by the UFC and he became the inaugural champion Featherweight the promotion.
Aldo gained 18 wins on the leap during a no less than undefeated line from ten years from 2005 to 2015.
His legendary run was ended by former bitter rival and two -division champion Conor McGregorwho won their gigantic unification on UFC 194 with a KO of 13 seconds.
He would reclaim the belt in 2016 after winning the interim title against Frankie Edgar, although he would lose it to Max Holloway in June 2017.
He had failure To become a two-weight world champion in July 2020 after losing bantam weight, under a fifth round TKO defeat against Petr Yan.
The fan’s favorite would close his legendary career with four victories in his last seven outings.
