Former Premier League Talent Spotter and Academy Recruitment Expert Malcolm Elias died at the age of 71, as was announced.
Fulham FC Passed on Elias’ in a statement on social media.
The message was: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our colleague and dear friend, Malcolm Elias, after a short illness.
“The head of the club of academic recruitment, Malcolm had a fantastic reputation football For the excavation and cherishing of young talent.
“A proud Welshman, Malcolm was approaching his 16th birthday in Craven Cottage this summer, after he joined us Liverpool In July 2009, while he previously also had a very successful enchantment at Southampton alongside future Fulham colleagues Married Jennings and Steve Wigley.

“A hugely popular figure around the training field, Malcolm will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Elias was always highly respected in football, after he Premier LeagueThe best young talents.
The Academy Recruitment Expert previously worked with Liverpool before he came to Fulham in 2009 – help people like Trent Alexander -Arnold and Harvey Elliott to get their breakthroughs.
Prior to his time on Merseyside, Elias collaborated with Southampton, where he had an impact on the early rise of Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain” Luke Shaw and Gareth Bale.
Tribute for the iconic figure has begun to flow in as the football world mourns for the loss.
QPR placed: “We are so sorry for your loss.
“Sending genuine condolences to the lovers of Malcolm and all at Fulham.”
While Oxford United, where Elias worked as an Academy Manager in the 1980s, posted: “Oxford United Were deeply sad to hear from the death of Malcolm Elias.
“A former teacher in Blackbird Leys, Malcolm started working as an Academy Manager in the 1980s.
“A very popular person and coach in the club for more than a decade, Malcolm is an integral part of the history of the club and helps to bring talents such as Joey Beauchamp.
“Our thoughts are currently going to his family and friends. Rip.”
And Southampton has issued a statement that read: “We are incredibly sad to learn about the death of Malcolm Elias, one of the influential figures in the history of the club of the club.
“Our thoughts are currently going to all family, friends and colleagues of Malcolm.”
