Video games are much bigger than they used to be, literally. Some of the most popular games now take up even more gigabytes and space, and it looks like that trend will continue for a while. Sometimes even the internal storage of your console or PC isn’t enough to hold all of your games installed.

But that’s where external drives and other storage options come in. Seagate is currently having a sale on its drives and expansion cards Prime dayso if you’re looking to expand your game storage, now’s a good time to do so, especially if you have Xbox Game Pass.

The biggest discount is 36% on Seagate’s most expensive option, the 2TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S. Normally priced at $360, it’s now marked down to $230.

This is the highest capacity expansion card that Seagate has for the Xbox Series X|S, and it will allow you to install many more games simultaneously without sacrificing performance, graphics, framerates, and load times. This is an officially licensed product from Xbox and Microsoft, so games played from the card are promised to perform at the same peak levels as if they were stored on the console’s internal storage.

If you want to save money, 1TB version is on sale for 23% off at $124, and if you’re looking for an even cheaper option and don’t mind a lot, the external portable Xbox 2TB hard driveis for sale for $75.

It’s important to note that the expansion cards only work on the Xbox Series X|S, while the hard drive works on both the Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.
