Have you ever got home from a holiday and throwing your suitcase on the bed to unpack?
According to an expert, you will regret it to regret it, claiming that trunk wheels can wear more germs than a public toilet glasses.
As part of a new study, researchers flew the wheels, the basic and trolley handle of a suitcase to test bacteria.
And it’s not good news.
According to the study, the wheels of a suitcase can wear nearly 58 times more bacteria than a public toilet glasses.
Microbiologist, Amy-May Pointer, says: “Your trunk wheels can accommodate more bacteria than a public toilet seat, and the bottom of your bag is not far behind.”
The wheels are the dirtiest because of their constant contact with sidewalks and toilet floors, but the base of a suitcase is also quite nasty. Researchers discovered that Black Mold could easily ride a ride on the luggage of a holiday maker.
“Suitcases, especially their wheels and bottoms, are germagnet that can even be a toilet out germ,” Amy explains.

According to the study, the wheels of a suitcase can wear nearly 58 times more bacteria than a public toilet glasses,
“But with basic hygiene steps you can prevent these traveling microbes from joining you in bed or on the dining table.”
How to keep your suitcase clean
Save it correctly
The expert recommends always using the luggage rack of a hotel to save your bag. If the hotel has no, tourists can place plastic shower caps on the wheels of the bag.
Amy adds: “Covering those wheels can cause them to spread bacteria over your carpet or bedding.”
Stay away from obvious mud
They can be difficult to avoid if you have a crazy haste to the airport, but try to wipe or store your cover by having a puddle.
“The fewer Smurners pick up your wheels, the less you have to worry,” Amy advises.

Wash your hands after lugging
Suitcase handles can easily pick up bacteria during a handle. The easiest way to prevent this is to ensure that your hands are clean and washed at all times.
Amy says, “Treat your hands as if you just touched those surfaces because you did indirectly.”
Wipe your suitcase
The moment you get home, Amy recommends that you clean your suitcase with a disinfectant or soap book.
Clean bags
Many suitcases have removable wheels. Tourists can soak this in hot soap water and sweep hard cases with ‘mild bleach’.
Fabric bags can be cleaned with a vacuum or scrubbed with a cloth. Baking powder can help to banish mold.
The research, conducted by Insureandgo, tested how many harmful bacteria were found in each area of a suitcase.
