A customer in the US has sued VPN provider ExpressVPN due to alleged “illegal” car extension costs.

Plaintiff Timothy Millar has brought a Class Action right against ExpressVPN In the California court on 13 June 2025, who accuses the company of automatically charging him a monthly fee without his permission. Millar tries to represent himself and all other consumers in California who have been sued illegal car renewal costs at least once.
