F1 British GP Live Results: Silverstone Race Now when Verstappen starts on pole

Lap 11/52 – Piastri Leads, Verstappen Second

Russell has set the fastest round of the race so far.

Verstappen runs 2.5 seconds behind Piastri, so is now outside of Drs Range.

Norris is third, Hamilton fourth and Gasly in fifth place.

Lap 9/52 – Piastri Leads, Verstappen Second

So far we have seen many incidents and very few racing.

There is a rain forecast in ten minutes, depending on how heavy it is, we could see that all cars have to get into the pits.

Bortoleto, Lawson and Colapinto are all outside the race.

The virtual safety car has now ended.

Piastri takes control of it while he succeeds in Verstappen first to take the lead.

Lap 7/52 – Verstappen Leads, Piastri Second

Piastri stacks the pressure on Verstappen.

The Red Bull slides a bit on the corners, so the McLaren can really attack it.

There is another virtual safety car for rubble on the circuit.

Lap 5/52 – Verstappen Leads, Piastri Second

Most cars are located on intermediate tires, apart from the two Mercedes that have already changed into hard.

With the VSC, drivers can only lose a fraction of the time they would normally do.

Verstappen calls in his team radio to say that the song is good for slicks, apart from the last two corners.
