We first noticed the outage on Threads, where the platform started denying image uploads. Soon the feeds started disappearing.
Subsequent checks on Instagram and Facebook revealed similar instabilities.

As we mentioned, at least according to Down Detector, AWS was also struggling in the early afternoon. Since we’ve heard whispers that other services outside the Meta’s orbit are also struggling, this could be a bigger problem than one company’s servers.
