The Reddit user shared the skin care tip in a post.

They indicated that they prefer a $12 Kids Sunscreen on their faces.

“My favorite sunscreen (for my face) lately has been Coppertone Pure and Simple Baby Sunscreen,” they said.

“But I have been consistently using children’s sunscreen on my face for years and the results are better than the adults.

“If you know anything about skin care, you know that sunscreen is essential to prevent premature aging.”

While they follow the skin care rules as best they can, they admit that this routine step can be quite costly.

“The problem is that many adult facial sunscreens come in small tubes with a high price tag,” the researchers said.

“But I learned this years ago: children’s sunscreen comes in larger bottles, is almost always mineral, and costs just as much or less than those little tubes.

One advantage is that sunscreen specially developed for children is less irritating to the eyes, they added.

“And I like that they’re usually mineral, because I have super sensitive eyes and chemical sunscreens irritate them,” they said.

This technique is especially cost-effective if you are an avid user of sunscreen and reapply it throughout the day.

“I use the two-finger sunscreen rule for my neck and face,” they said.

“I reapply the sunscreen several times a day, but strangely enough, it still stays on for a very long time.

“I think the sunscreen in children’s clothing is generally thicker and therefore lasts longer.”

The two-finger sunscreen rule comes from a Study and dosage guide from 2002 who advises on using the correct amount of sunscreen.

Scientists recommend using the following technique, which involves “applying two strips of sunscreen to both the index and middle fingers, from the palm to the fingertips.”

“Applying this ‘two fingers’ sunscreen delivers a dose of product comparable to the dose used in the laboratory to determine the protection factor,” the study said.

“Such a dosage guideline is a way to ensure that users are protected according to their expectations.”

The study found that users need to reapply the product every few hours for maximum protection.

“Users should be encouraged to reapply a finger-thick layer within half an hour of initial application to achieve optimal protection,” the report said.
