‘Facts’ Parents Say As Woman Shares List Of 400 Reasons She Doesn’t Want Kids
A WOMAN has left people in an uproar after revealing a list of 400 hilarious reasons why she doesn’t want children.
Many of her reasons are also confirmed by parents themselves, who jokingly said that they “don’t want children” either.
Rylee posted her list on TikTok, in response to a woman’s question: “What’s your main reason for not having kids?”
“Hmm, let’s see,” Rylee said, scrolling through her list.
Many of her reasons related to the health problems that can come with having children, such as “childbirth can be deadly,” “postpartum depression,” and “morning sickness.”
Rylee’s list also included some reasons for what the child might look like when he or she is older.

“They could be racists”, “they could be serial killers”, “they could be allergic to animals”.
And there are a number of reasons for children’s behavior, such as ‘they eat crayons’, ‘they eat glue sticks’, ‘screaming on the plane’.
Many of Rylee’s answers seemed completely nonsensical.
“They pee on you on purpose when they’re angry”, “they don’t get kneecaps until they’re 10”, “they could just kill me in their sleep”.
The UK birth rate has been falling for a decade. In 2022, the average birth rate in England and Wales was 1.49 children per woman.
This is a decrease compared to the 1.55 children per woman in 2021.
The most common reasons why people in the UK do not want children are the increased cost of living, not wanting to change their lifestyle and the belief that the world is too overpopulated.
Rylee’s video (its.mee.rylee) has probably left many people with their jaws dropped, as it has already been viewed over 3.8 million times.
TikTok users rushed to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
Why do people choose not to have children?
The birth rate in the UK has fallen over the last decade. There are a number of reasons why people decide not to have children.
One of the main reasons for this is the rising cost of living.
House prices have risen dramatically, making it increasingly difficult for young people to buy a home suitable for a family.
Childcare costs have also risen dramatically, leaving many people feeling like they can’t afford to raise children.
Another common reason people don’t want children is that they don’t want to change their lifestyle.
Many people choose to prioritize travel and their career.
Others also choose not to have children because of environmental concerns.
Someone said, “I have three children and I don’t want children either.”
A second person said, “As a parent, I support this list.”
A third person said, “Any reason is valid.”
A fourth added: “Facts after facts.”
A fifth said: “This list is so funny.. it gets me every time.”
