Fans of Home Bargains joke that Nutcracker has been to Turkey after discovering secret details
CHRISTMAS fanatics have gone crazy this year for an extra large decoration in Woonkoopjes.
The £39.99 plush Nutcracker comes in pink and burgundy and is completely sold out online.
So shoppers across the country are rushing to the nearest store to get their hands on it.
The bosses at Home Bargains describe it this way: “Add a touch of festive charm to your Christmas decor with the Elegance Large Nutcracker Plush Decoration!
“This oversized, plush nutcracker measures a cozy 40 inches tall and is the perfect statement centerpiece for your parties.”
But lucky festive fans who bagged the adorable Nutcracker are now left stunned after discovering a secret detail on it.
The hidden feature comes after a shopper was convinced her daughter had scribbled on the sought-after decoration when she lifted the beard and saw wonky black lines outlining the teeth.
Taking to social media, Charlotte asked: ‘I was wondering, does someone’s nutcracker have these teeth or did my daughter do it?
‘Because what is that? I kind of hope she did it.”
The mother’s message, shared on the popular website Bargain lovers Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range The 400,000-member Facebook group has since amassed more than 350 likes and hundreds of comments.
And it turns out that the tooth detail is indeed an intentional part of the Christmas Nutcracker’s design.
“Mine has teeth too lol. I didn’t notice until you said it,” gasped another social media user.
Someone else wrote: “I ran to check mine and then frantically pushed his beard back down because WHAT ARE THOSE?”
A third said: “Think mine went to Turkey, at least they’re straight, but it’s a no from me.
“Imagine seeing them in the dark, with only the lights of the Christmas tree on them.”
Meanwhile, a fourth claimed: “I’ll never be able to look at mine the same way now.”
And others were quick to joke that the Nutcracker’s toothy grin reminded them of Turkey Teeth.
“Nutcracker went to Turkey,” someone said.
A second echoed: ‘It looks more like Nutcracker has to go to Turkey. You’d think they’d at least look nice, not just the way some kid scribbled it.”
“Turkey teeth for turkey nuts,” a third person echoed.
It comes after shoppers were left furious over a flaw in a Christmas decoration that “took 20 tries to spot”.
The nice metal standing street sign with winter charm gives directions to Santa’s workshop, the elf village and the reindeer stables and looks perfect both indoors and outdoors.
The freestanding decoration was originally priced at £6.99 in Home Bargains, but was reduced to just £2.99 due to the error.
