Fashion fan shares EXACT search terms to use on Shein to find designer dupes
IT’S such a big site that it can be difficult to find what you’re looking for on Shein.
But a fashion enthusiast has revealed the exact terms you need to enter into the search bar to find a whole host of counterfeit products for a fraction of the price.
Sarah took over her TikTok page to share the inside scoop, as she wrote, “Can’t find the ‘brands’ on Shein? I got you!”
She began her review by revealing that Lululemon knockoffs can be found on the site under ‘Glowmode’, with prices starting at £4.99 for a towel and a pack of three socks.
More expensive items include a two-piece ‘Featherfit’ workout crop top and leggings for £31.99 – not bad when you consider that a single pair of Lululemon leggings can set you back £88.
If Zara is more your thing, search the fast fashion website for ‘Maija’.
This produces a whole host of fun imitations, including vests for £2.40 and dresses for just £3.79.
You can find Aritzia duplicates by searching for “Frenchy,” and versions of PrettyLittleThing favorites using the term “Musera,” Sarah continued.
While anthropology duplicates fall under the search term ‘Anewsta’.
If you’re looking for Oh Polly knockoffs, type ‘Parthea’ into the search box and you’ll find cute flared mini skirts for just £18.61.
A similar dress from the real Oh Polly could set you back as much as £80.
Sarah also mentioned that you can find cheap clothes from Forever 21 and Missguided by searching for those brands on Shein.
And she quickly received compliments in the comments, with one person writing: “This is literally a dream come true.
“We have regular Shein clothing as well as our favorite store knockoffs.
“And you can track the store so you don’t forget!!”
“I’ll save this for later,” promised another.
“How is the quality?” asked a third.
Sarah replied, “If you read the reviews, most of what I’ve found is pretty good.”
What is Shein and is it legit?
Shein is a fast fashion retailer that operates exclusively online and is based in China. It has become a popular shopping destination for many around the world.
In 2023, the company was valued at $66 billion, dwarfing popular brands Zara and H&M.
The fashion chain was founded in late 2008 by entrepreneur and marketing specialist Xu Yangtian, also known as Chris Xu.
Shein is a legitimate sales website and not a phishing scam.
However, according to reviews, you may receive a disappointing order or experience shipping issues if you order through the site.
There are many complaints about the quality, which makes sense when you look at the price tag.
“THANK YOU!” praised someone else.
“You’re welcome!” Sarah replied.
“Something like Good American?” someone else asked.
As Sarah suggested, “Find something from Good American, screenshot it, and search for it using the photo option in the search bar.”
