Fashionistas rush to M&S after spotting shoes for £3.49 in end of summer sale
FASHION fans are rushing to M&S to get their hands on their shoe collection, which is currently on huge discounts.
And with discounts of over £30 on some heels, it’s no wonder they’re the first to sell out.
Holly Rose Parsons is one of the fashion fans who discovered the discounted items at her local M&S.
She found small-heeled pumps in blue denim, which had been reduced from £35 to £3.49.
And a pair of imitation leather ones that cost £4.99, marked down from £35.
Holly took to her TikTok page @hollyroseparsons and shared a video of her fashionable find.
The fashionista captioned it: “Girls running to M&S.”
The video has since gone viral, with over 292,000 views, with many shoppers taking to the comments to share their thoughts.
“I bought three pairs of shoes for £20, they used to cost £55 each!!,” one customer raved.
“M&S discounts are the best!” said another fashion fan.
Someone else added: “I have some beautiful pink those who were legitimate Zara counterfeit for £6. Didn’t have any sizes left though.”
One unhappy shopper said: “Am I the only one who missed the M&S sale??? How often do they have sales like this?”
But someone else, who seems to be a big fan of the sale, said: “They do it every season.
“You can ask the M&S staff when the sale starts, but they won’t tell you when they have this kind of sale.
“People used to fight over clothes, shoes and bags, all for £3.”
Brands & Spencer embarks on a bold new adventure by introducing a unique store as part of an experimental initiative.
This autumn, the renowned British retailer will open its first-ever store dedicated solely to clothing. For almost 100 years, M&S has been known for offering both clothing and fresh food.
Although the company has been operating independent supermarkets since 1987, it has never opened a store that sells exclusively clothing. Until now.
A recent surge in fashion sales has inspired M&S to test this new concept.
The store, located in London’s Battersea Power Station, is expected to open in November. It will offer a carefully curated selection of womenswear and men’s clothing, with an emphasis on premium lines and beauty products.
Stuart Machin, CEO of M&S, said the test store will “present the best of M&S clothing and beauty products at exceptional value.”
Shoppers can find lingerie, £99 cashmere sweaters and items from the chic Autograph collection, among other items.
M&S’ new Battersea store is expected to create around 30 new jobs, with recruitment due to start in September.
Why Everyone Loves M&S
Deputy fashion editor Abby McHale told Fabulous why M&S is the store of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really done a great job this season, there are so many good products to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’, although that idea has long since disappeared, it is now one of the leading high streets for women’s clothing.
“The handbag range in particular is super strong, with a 170% sales rate against plan, and many more designer dupes at a fraction of the price.
“The brand is also now #1 for style perceptions, up from #3 last year. This is due to a very strong design team that is focused on modernizing the brand, taking into account not only how the pieces look, but also how easy they are to wear.
“Price is also an important factor as you can get a lot of good quality pieces for under £30.
“Having given us a sneak peek at the upcoming collection, there are so many more amazing pieces to keep an eye out for in the coming months.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and great accessories, as well as great wardrobe pieces that will last year after year.”
