A father and son who were dismissed from a building lane were charged after they have reported to the workplace and set up a violent fight yesterday.

The couple, 22 and 44, was fired on Friday from the Meriton -Building Place in Castle Hill, the police said before he returned to the Sexton Avenue building zone on Monday.

The police claimed that the couple was armed with hammers and became physical while confronting the men who fired them.

“On Monday there was probably some frustration and anger of their termination on Friday,” Chief Inspector Naomi Moore told reporters on Wednesday afternoon.

“And if they went there to solve it, it would be claimed that they didn’t do that because they have been to Hamers.”

The duo would then return to the Castle Grange Condominium complex site, accompanied by supporters on Tuesday at 7 am.

A wild fight followed, involving different trading on the road.

Meriton, behind the construction, said that the contractors involved in the battle were dumped and that no direct meriton employees were involved.

Det Supt Moore said that officers were looking for anyone involved in the episode and were spending for every nearby CCTV.

“There are important images at locations near that scene that is much clearer and we will be very clearly able to identify those parties,” said Detective -Superintendent Moore.

The father and son transferred to the police on Wednesday morning, she said.

Paramedics treated a 43-year-old man and a 55-year-old man on the spot before being brought to the Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.

One man was treated on the spot for cracks and both were released from the hospital within a few hours on Tuesday.

During the minute video, at least two men were pushed to the ground, where they seemed to be kicked by someone.

The police said that a 44-year-old was accused of connection and stalking or intimidating that it was planning to cause fear or physical damage.

A younger man was touched with the same charges, as well as a count of common attack.

Both received a conditional bail on July 16 at the front of the local court of Parramatta.
