Motorists are encouraged to take care of after five tragic deaths within 24 hours later West -Australia roads.
The Wegtol of the State is currently lost at 103 lives so far in 2025 – the highest figure in a decade and 10 more than this time last year.
That figure will rise when the Road Safety Commission updates the road tank after this weekend.
WA Police Road Policing Commander Mike Peters and the Road Safety Commissioner Adrian Warner of the State are Frustrated by the increasing death toll.
They hope that the latest tragedies will be a wake-up for motorists if the school holidays of July will start.

Several fatal crashes over life claimed five lives within 24 hours in WA at the end of last week.
The first incident claimed that the life of a motorcyclist, 70 who collided at a cross in Australind on Thursday afternoon at a crossroads, in the southwest of the state.
A man, 40, died after colliding with a truck that has hit three tailers Mariginiup, north of Perth on Friday.
Only 30 minutes later, a third motorist collided with a 51-year-old pedestrian who immediately killed him, in the mundling of East Perth.
Later on Friday morning a fourth man died when his 4WD started a tree and came fire to Serpentine, in Southeast-Perth.
A few hours later a female passenger died, 64 after the vehicle she traveled in the vehicle hit a tree in Alfred Cove.
“It is incredibly frustrating that we have these persistent levels of dead on our ways,” said Mr. Warner.
‘We must be aware of the risks on the road. We must be aware of the choices we make when we find out. ‘
