Five thousand additional CAPF personnel sent to Manipur – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday assessed the situation in Manipur and took stock of the deployment of security forces there, in the second round of deliberations over the last two days.The evaluation meeting even came like this Ministry of the Interior rushed another 5,000 CAPF personnel to tackle the escalation of protests and ethnic violence.
