One of Verizon’s current internet deals includes a free NFL Sunday Ticket subscription (a $449 value) for the 2024 season. To qualify, customers must sign up for or upgrade to a Fios gigabit plan or the carrier’s 5G Home Plus plan.
What is NFL Sunday Ticket?
NFL Sunday Ticket, an exclusive streaming package from YouTube TVoffers every live, out-of-market NFL game, every Sunday, throughout the regular season. The package starts at $449 ($349 for YouTube TV subscribers) and includes unlimited in-home streams and two out-of-home streams.

Verizon NFL Sunday Ticket Deal Details
NFL Sunday Ticket is available for a limited time to new and upgrading customers who opt for a Verizon Fios gig plan — 1Gbps starting at $90 per month or 2.3Gbps, available in select areas, starting at $110 — or Verizon’s 5G Home Plus, starting at $70 per month for speeds ranging from 85 to 1,000 Mbps.
Customers must maintain their service in good standing until February 28, 2025, otherwise Verizon reserves the right to reclaim the value of the annual subscription.
Also included is a free one-year Vix Premium subscription and a three- or four-year price match with 5G Home Plus or Fios gig service, respectively.
The cheaper plans, Fios 300 and 500 Mbps and 5G Home Internet, do not include the NFL Sunday Ticket subscription, but the Vix Premium subscription and a two- or three-year price guarantee are available.
Do I need a YouTube TV subscription for NFL Sunday Ticket?
No. You do need a Google account, but a YouTube TV subscription is not required to get NFL Sunday Ticket. The plan is cheaper for YouTube TV subscribers, $349 compared to $449, but that doesn’t matter when you’re getting it for free from Verizon anyway.
You’ll also need a streaming device or smart TV with the YouTube app, plus an internet connection with download speeds of at least 13 Mbps to reliably stream NFL Sunday Ticket in HD. Other than that, all you need are snacks, drinks, and your lucky shirt.
What if I don’t want an NFL Sunday Ticket?
Verizon often gives you the choice of two or more promo offers, and that’s the case with today’s deal. For those who don’t want NFL Sunday Ticket, Verizon is offering $400 off a minimum purchase of $798 on Samsung devices at The Home Depot.
To qualify, new or upgrading customers must sign up for a Fios gig plan or 5G Home Plus by September 11, 2024, and maintain their service in good standing for 180 days.
If neither deal, an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription or the $400 Samsung device credit, excites you, check back in a month or so. Verizon changes its promotional offers regularly, and the next one is bound to be a good deal if they want to top a free NFL Sunday Ticket subscription.
