For years I’ve been following a movie star’s skincare tip: don’t let gravity get to you
A BEAUTY fan shared a timeless trick she learned from a mid-20th century Hollywood glamour girl that defies gravity.
She said she’s been using the skin care tip for years and that it works well with makeup too.
Reddit user Enjolraic has had a consistent technique in her routine since her teenage years.
She shared how much the interview with a Hollywood beauty icon about her skincare routine touched her.
She admitted she couldn’t remember whether it was Bridget Fonda or Julie Andrews.
But there was one thing she learned from the movie stars.
“They always said, ‘Never forget your neck’ when moisturizing and applying foundation,” she added.
Although this is a common practice for many, it was not so common in her life at the time.
“I saw friends who would put foundation on their jawline and then put some kind of mask on it,” she said.
She distinguished herself by ‘always remembering’ to apply and blend her creams and sometimes foundation on her décolleté.

The Redditor made sure she looked “not the same.”
She admitted that she rarely used foundation when she was younger and that now, as an adult, she doesn’t wear it anymore.
“When it comes to face cream, I apply it up to my collarbone,” she explains.
Other Redditors were aware of the tip.
“’Take it to the t**s’ is my favorite phrase to remember for skin care,” one person commented.
The original poster also showed an anti-aging application technique when applying products.
Apply the cream to your face and neck, always working upwards.
“Never pull the skin down, don’t let gravity help you! Always blend it!” she said.

After applying your lipstick, place a tissue on your lips and apply it with a powder brush.
You can use any ‘leftover powder’ you have left over from your normal makeup routine.
Then she told me to reapply the lipstick.
“It makes the color last much longer!” she said.
