Villarreal has released a striking new home kit.
The LaLiga side has become known for their characteristic yellow comics.
For decades, the Villarreal Shirt has a minimalist yellow design.
Their recent Joma Kits, in addition to earlier designs by Xtep, Puma and Kelme, have deviated little from their classic concept.
Although the strips occasionally have a little blue finish.
Their last with a considerable difference was in the 2000-01 season, when the Kelme shirt contained a lot of blue.
But this year’s efforts have disappeared from the norm.
In a shiny kit, the yellow submarine revealed that their new strip has a solid blue vertical stripe along the front.
The trailer showed a designer who scribbled on a piece of paper, while he manically repeated “it’s always the same”.
When they finished their work, they added “This changes everything” before the kit was revealed.

Seeing the new shirt, a fan joked on social media: “Which team is this? I don’t recognize it.”
While a second joke: “Thank goodness, it is villarreal because I didn’t even know who you were with such a big change.”
A third noticed: “I love.”
Although another has been added: “What a shirt disaster, which I don’t understand, is how a serious club like Villarreal continues with that brand …”
