The upgraded stand will replace a temporary structure that was originally built during the Premier League days of the club, aimed at improving the competition day for fans.

The project includes the replacement and renovation of all boards and seats, together with new media facilities and a camera platform.

The club is also planning to the South Stand -roof in Mandarin and White over the summer.

Fans can also expect the introduction of safe status, whereby handrails will be installed in the coming months.

Subject to the approval of the planning, the club wants to make further improvements to the East Stand and its facade.

New LED shine are introduced in the stadium, together with a new Tannoy system -both part of the second phase of stadiumupgrades.

After confirming these developments, owner Simon Sadler emphasized the progress both on and outside the field.

“I am very enthusiastic about what awaits us for our club. I am especially happy that we have found a cost -effective solution to rebuild and tackle the shortcomings of the East Stand by using the existing frame, which I am sure still has at least 20 years of life.

“Although I understand that there might be some disappointment among fans that we do not completely rebuild a new liberating stand, it is savings that are preferably more than £ 10 million.

Steve Bruce gave a huge blow just a few days after he was called Blackpool Boss, because the striker was banned because he seemed to hit the opponent

“This savings are free to invest elsewhere in and around the stadium and also mean that we do not have to sacrifice the capacity of the stadium during the construction.

“The installation of handrails in the northern position and the addition of mandarin at the bottom of the South Stand roof are important improvements, but more can still be made to stamp our identity on Bloomfield Road.

“As such, we will formally contact fans and fang groups to explore ways to add more color and liveliness in our house.

“When completed, the Sportdorp will be a fantastic possession for our community confidence and academy, both of which will be located in the Bloomfield Road Complex.

“This means that in the heart of BlackpoolWe will have a busy, lively facility used seven days a week by local boys and girls, men and women, for a series of football and sports -related activities.

“With Squires Gate Training Ground who receives further investments out of season and the Sportdorp on completion next Summer will soon be the club – from the Academy to the first team – the most integrated and professional it has ever been.

“For the first time we will have championship level facilities everywhere, which gives us a strong basis for future success.

“I really believe that after a few years of disappointment we have become the proverbial corner. We now have by far the best all-round football setup during my time as owner-and make no mistake, promotion back to the Championship Is our goal. Better times lie for all of us. “

Blackpool finished ninth in League One and just fell short of the play-offs.

They were last in the Premier League in 2010/11 and last in the championship for the 2022/23 campaign.
