Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Release Date and Season 3 Ending
What’s new in Fortnite?
Fortnite just swapped the loot pool for Fortnite Reload. The Lever Action Shotgun, Tactical Submachine Gun, and Hand Cannon have been removed. In their place are the Thunder Pump Shotgun, Twin Mag SMG, and Mammoth Pistol.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been out for a while now, adding a whole lot of vehicular mayhem to the ongoing battle royale game. There are new bosses to fight, and even mythic vehicles to steal.
Now that the last season is completely in the rearview mirror, we can look forward to the rest of the new season: Wrecked. A post-apocalyptic sand adventure awaits us, and the ‘Wasteland Warriors’ have taken over and made a new home for themselves on the sand-infested island.
Here’s everything you need to know about the process of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 ends, when Chapter 5 Season 4 begins, and what to expect. Of course, we’re still a while away from a new season, so it’ll be a while before Epic starts teasing anything. For a more classic experience, check out what we know about the return of Fortnite OG.
When does the current season of Fortnite end?
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 ends on August 16, 2024. This is according to the Battle Pass main screen in-game. This has generally been fairly accurate in the past, but be aware that the timing has sometimes been adjusted slightly as the end of the season approaches.
It’s worth noting that the previous season’s timing shifted a few days just before the new season was due to arrive, so timings here are always subject to change with regards to downtime periods. Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Release Date
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 launches on August 16, 2024, if Epic sticks to its current schedule. The thing to remember about new Fortnite seasons and chapters is that there is always a period of downtime after one ends. This downtime makes it difficult to predict the exact start time of the next season, as it can range from a few hours — as was the case in the previous season — to several days, as has happened before between chapters.
What can you expect from the next Fortnite season?
Considering we’re still fairly early into the current season, it’s no surprise that Epic hasn’t revealed anything substantial yet Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. Previously, the developer would start dropping information about a month before the launch of a new season. So we’ll have to wait a bit longer before we hear more. Stay tuned for updates.
