Four illegal immigrants from Bangladesh have been arrested in Nadia in West Bengal
KRISHNAGANJ: Four illegally Bangladeshi immigrants were arrested near the international border in West Bengal‘S Nadia district, police said Saturday. They were arrested on Friday evening after a tip that illegal immigrants had sought shelter in a house Dharampur Birpara near Tungisaid a police officer.
They had crossed into India illegally and did not have valid passports, he said.
They were identified as Sumi Akhter, Eamon Biswas, Shankar Biswas and Roop Kumar Biswas. They belong to Baladanga, Dhawakhali and Chakulia areas in the neighboring country, police said.
