Four people have been killed in a mass shooting in Kentucky, leaving three people fighting for their lives.
The police were called the 2600 block of Ridgecrest Drive in Florence just before 3 a.m.
The suspect led police on a wild chase, after which he turned the gun on himself.
Upon arrival, police found four dead and three other seriously injured victims. They were transferred to the intensive care unit of UC Hospital.
According to a local church, the shooting occurred during a birthday pool party, which asked for prayers for the victims.

When they arrived at the scene, the shooter had already fled, but he was later spotted and a chase ensued.
The chase ended on Dale Heimbrock Way when the suspect ended up in a ditch.
When officers arrived at his car, they found he had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He was taken to St. Elizabeth, where he later died. No details about his identity have been released.
The Florence Church of God said in a Facebook post that the tragedy occurred after an intruder opened fire at the birthday celebration.
The victims included a mother who was fatally shot and her daughter who was injured, the report said.
