And after 24 years with his girlfriend and four proposal decks, room 101 host Frank Skinner68, this week made the headlines after he announced that he finally made the decision with Cath Mason.
Frank Skinner, however, is not actually the real name of the comedian.
His real name is Christopher Collins – a fact that is even stunned Princess Anne herself.
During a visit to Buckingham Palace To receive his MBE in April 2023, Frank said that Anne told him that it was ‘confusing’ that he had two names.

He also revealed the strange reason why he finally chose the name Frank Skinner as his alter ego.
“If I couldn’t make the princess laughing today, I wouldn’t feel like I deserved the medal,” he told Dad.
“I made her laugh everywhere, it was pretty consistent. She was a pretty good audience because she couldn’t go anywhere.
“She said it was a bit confusing that I have two names. I had to explain that when you are in the actors’ union, only one person can have a name.
‘Frank Skinner was someone from my father’s Dominoes team, so I chose that.
“I think she just thought it was funny how I had chosen my name – Domino’s do not sound glamorous enough to discuss in Buckingham Palace.”
After meeting the Cath all the way back in 1998 when she worked for his management company, the couple was together for 24 years before his marriage this week.
Frank had regularly joked about Cath, with whom he shares a son, rejected his proposals, but insisted that he would “connect.”

Frank finally revealed on Monday that the couple had made the decision in the last episode of him Frank from the radio Podcast with co-hosts Emily Dean, who burst into tears, and Pierre Novellie.
