From Kelly Brook to Selena Gomez – The Famous Women Who Love Their Abs
Say goodbye to the era of cosmetic surgery and hello to celebrities who stay realistic and embrace every inch of their curves.
The tight and sleek look is out, while ‘real’ bodies are in, with actress Kate Winslet recently revealing how she ‘refused to hide her stomach rolls’ while filming her latest movie. film Loe.
Fans were quick to compliment Stacey Solomon, who shared a holiday snap with her six million Instagram followers, looking stunning in a canary yellow bikini.
The 34-year-old TV presenter wrote: “I haven’t been as committed to the gym this year as I was last year.
“But when I look back at the photos from the beach yesterday, I see that I am still so beautiful.
“I look a little different than I did on my last holiday, but still just as beautiful.

“I do everything I can to make sure my girls know how beautiful they are and don’t measure their beauty against anyone else’s. And do the things they love because it makes them feel good, not because it makes them look a certain way.”
Well done Stace and all the other body confident women out there who are defying the six pack trend and loving their bodies despite it all.
According to body language expert Judi James, Wearing belly rolls as a badge of honor is the epitome of power and a reminder that it’s time to love our bodies, no matter what they look like.
She explains: “Women have been taught to believe that only Barbie bodies should appear on screen.
“So this new wave of celebrities who have suddenly let go of their belly rolls to the applause of fans may have created a new era of beautiful bodies, meaning women everywhere no longer have to hold back or cover up their bodies when there’s a camera around.”
Here, Yasmin Harisha reveals which famous faces are committed to body acceptance and Judi reveals the true meaning behind their photos.
Showing a softer side
Selena Gomez, 32, is known for her confidence in her photos. She showed off her curves in a bikini on vacation and Judi says the actress has perfected her photos.
Judi says: “She shows a combination of cleavage, round hips and a softer, rounder body shape in a carefree shape. There is no six pack in sight.
“This may make her seem at the height of her desirability. She looks relaxed and almost oblivious to the camera, as if she’s enjoying the view and the boating experience more than stretching for an ego-driven selfie.
“Her body language suggests she’s not trying to get attention, which only makes her look more attractive here.”
Positively glowing
Mother of five Stacey Solomon recently relaxed with her children on the beach during a holiday and didn’t shy away from showing off her not-so-toned stomach. According to Judi, that says a lot about the 34-year-old.
“She looks beautiful and is thankfully not self-conscious about her rolls. Stacy is the epitome of body confidence,” Judi adds.
“Not only does her very natural shape look good, she also provides a role model for young women who have been ripped off by celebrities using filters and Photoshop to shrink their own waistlines, and more importantly, a positive role model for her own young daughters.”
Postpartum powerhouse
Serena Williams welcomed her second child, Adira River Ohanian, last year and she’s had no qualms about showing off her postpartum belly.
Judi says: “Serena is the ultimate alpha power woman. As a leading athlete, she exudes physical strength and emotional confidence.
“That self-confidence is reflected in the way she presents herself with her unique style and powerful charisma.
“Her signals let us know that she is the one who decides what an attractive size and body shape is and of course she is right not to conform to external stereotypes.”
Playful and cheerful
Extra points go to TV presenter Nadia Sawalha, who confidently showed off her curves in a string bikini on the beach.
Judi says: “It’s her natural body shape that, together with the fun, recognisable smile for the camera, speaks of a good, happy, playful life that looks almost as attractive.
“By mimicking the poses of a more stereotypically ‘perfect’ woman, she has essentially ‘sold’ us her own body shape, proving that it’s less about what you have and more about what you do with it.”
At peace with her curves
Kelly presents the ultimate curvy glamour model in one of her latest beach photos.
Judi says: “There’s something about her more recent poses that seems to indicate that she’s not only at peace with her curves, but that she’s also confident and self-possessed enough to know that she looks beautiful rather than seeking approval from agents and photographers.
“She tells us she looks good here with her more direct and confident eye contact.”
“Just put on that damn bikini!”
Before Emily gave birth to her baby in July, she always loved showing off her curves and was never afraid to wear a bikini.
Judi says: “Emily’s ‘Just put on your damn bikini!’ sounds like a rallying cry for all the women out there who spend their summer trying to hide or mask their rolls.
“And her body language makes her soundbite seem congruent. Her perfectly fitting bikini is worn with signals of joy and celebration.
“Emily is the perfect role model for embracing who you are, and not who fashion tells you you should be.”
Enviable curves
Plus-size model Ashley loves showing off her belly, so much so that she’s made a career out of it.
The 36-year-old is a world-famous model and body activist who advocates for body positivity and self-acceptance, especially for women.
Judi says: “Ashley shows off her curves better than most, and she makes them seem like enviable features, rather than something to mask or hide.
“She gives the ultimate lesson on determining your own USPs and how to use them optimally for the ultimate ‘victory’.”
How does it feel to see these celebrities?
By Senior Fabulous Writer Yasmin Harisha
IT’S refreshing to see celebrities finally embracing their curves.
As someone who is constantly gaining and losing weight, seeing these photos makes me feel human.
Instagram has become a place where perfection is sought. In most cases, it is not even achievable… unless surgery is involved.
Now that I’m preparing for summer vacation, I no longer have to worry about the fact that I may have deviated a little from my diet.
These celebrities are showing people that you don’t have to have a low body fat percentage to look great.
It also makes me realize that life is too short to worry about roles.
The only curves of our body we should be focusing on are the smile on our face and most importantly enjoying that vacation we have been looking forward to all year!
