A Controversial prototype design for a chair of standing plane Recently went viral on social media.
Designed by Aviosinteriors, the seats have a perch in bicycle style so that passengers would lean at an angle without being able to sit properly.
Although the seats still have to be introduced on an airline, the design turned out to be divided with many travelers who say they would never want to fly in.
However, a poll has shown that Gen ZZ travelers are much more open to the idea of flying without a chair, if the price is ‘considerably’ cheaper.
A new YouGOV survey asked British: “For flights of two hours or less, if the ticket costs were considerably lower, how prepared or unwilling, would you be to book a” half-quality chair “- effectively as a bicycle seat with a complete backrest and poor rest?”
The majority of the British was not at all the idea with 62 percent who said they were ‘fairly unwilling’ or ‘very unwilling’ to try the chair.
But Gen Z was facing the challenge.
More than half (53 percent) of the age between 18-24 said they would be willing to try a standing chair if the price was considerably lower.

A poll has shown that Gen Z -travelers are much more open to the idea of flying without a chair
Those aged 65 and older were the least likely that they feel like a standing chair with only 11 percent who said they would be willing to try it.
Men were slightly more likely than women to be willing to travel on a standing chair with 32 percent and said they would try it, compared to 21 percent of women.
But how would it actually feel?
A spokesperson for Aviosinteriors who tried the prototype design of the company, said MailOnline: ‘I only sat in it for five minutes, I clearly did not travel in those seats [for a long time].
‘I drive horses, so it felt comfortable for me. Who knows if you were in it for two hours or three hours, how would that feel? ‘
