George Clooney reveals he’s ‘annoyed’ with Quentin Tarantino for talking ‘s**t’ about his film career, while telling the director to ‘go to hell’ in rare unsaid interview with pal Brad Pitt

George Clooney has revealed he’s “a little annoyed” with Quentin Tarantino for talking “s**t” about him.

The duo co-starred as brothers in Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 thriller From Dusk ‘Till Dawn, which Tarantino wrote early in his career.

Brad previously made his name with his role as Doug Ross in the medical drama series ER, after which he began a successful career in Hollywood with roles in major films such as O Brother, Where Art Thou?, One Fine Day and Out of Sight.

But despite their previous collaborations and his illustrious career both in front of and behind the camera, Quentin, 61, has reportedly said some negative things about George, 63, of late, which the handsome man is definitely not impressed with.

Speaking in a joint GQ In an interview with his buddy Brad Pitt, George said: ‘Quentin’s been saying some rubbish about me recently, so I’m a bit annoyed with him.

‘He did an interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about you, and somebody else, and the guy said, “Well, how about George?” He said, he’s not a movie star. And he literally said something like, “Name me a movie since the millennium.” And I thought, “Since the millennium? That’s basically my whole f***ing career.”‘

Rather than express his support for the issue, his old friend apparently found George’s tirade hilarious and shouted, “Heh heh heh heh heh” during their interview.

George continued to express his frustration with the director, continuing, “So now I’m like, OK, dude, fuck off. I don’t care about giving him s***. He gave me s***.”

Despite his irritation, George insisted that as actors they were “very lucky” to work with “great directors.” He noted that directors and a film’s script “keep you alive.” He learned that after appearing in “really bad movies.”

Although the movie star is a little frustrated with Quentin, he has nothing but praise for his old friend Brad, who co-stars with him in the new action film Wolfs.

After joking about “no contact orders,” George said the two “check in on each other occasionally, which is an ‘important’ part of being friends, as life can get ‘complicated’ at times.”

Brad enthusiastically spoke of his friend, who first starred with him 24 years ago in Ocean’s Eleven, saying that George is “the best at understanding” and that he calls him “countless times” when things get “difficult.”

As Brad delves deeper into their bond, he compares their A-list fame to a gazelle taken from the herd, finding “comfort” in the fact that George is one of the few people who understands his situation.

Brad claimed his mullet was “one of the most beautiful that’s ever existed,” but George disagreed. He claimed his hair looked better before he was the Peacemaker and claimed their hair was part of their “really nice shared experience.”

Brad and George first starred together in 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven. They reunited in 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen.

Brad also had a cameo in George’s directorial debut, 2002’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and they starred in the Coen Brothers’ 2008 film Burn After Reading.

They also starred in Dustin Lance Black’s 2012 play 8, which was broadcast live on YouTube with an all-star cast including Kevin Bacon and Jamie Lee Curtis.

In their latest project, Wolfs, the two play two headstrong, professional fixers who are single – whose lives are turned upside down when they are given the same task.

In 2022, it was announced that both Pitt and Clooney had taken a pay cut to ensure the film would also be released in theaters and on Apple TV Plus.

Brad raved about his friend, who first starred with him in Ocean’s Eleven 24 years ago, saying that George is “the best at understanding” and that he calls him “countless times” when things get “difficult.”

Friendship aside, the two then went on to talk about their 80s mullets, with the competition between the two heating up, with Brad claiming his was ‘one of the best that’s ever existed’.

“It was an exciting time because it turned into one of those strange bidding wars that happen every now and then, and it ended up being pretty extreme, and Apple came up with a really large amount of money for Brad and I,” Clooney said. Deadline 2022.
