Gigabyte Aorus 16X, Gigabyte G6X AI-powered gaming laptops debut in India
Gigabyte has unveiled the Aorus 16X and G6X series of gaming laptops in India. They come with Microsoft CoPilot and the company’s AI Nexus technology, which is said to help with AI tasks and generative AI applications. The Aorus 16X laptops also come with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support. The Aorus 16X and Gigabyte G6X models feature 16-inch displays and offer Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. They can be configured with up to Intel Core i9 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.
Gigabyte Aorus 16X, Gigabyte G6X price in India
Gigabyte confirmed in a press release that the Gigabyte Aorus 16X and G6X gaming laptops will be priced in India ranging from Rs. 96,999 to Rs. 1,89,999. The exact pricing of each model is not yet mentioned. The laptops will go on sale in the country through online and offline stores in July.
The Gigabyte Aorus 16X ASG and Aorus 16X AKG models will be offered in two color options – Aurora Gray and Midnight Gray. Meanwhile, the Gigabyte G6X 9KG and G6X 9MG will be available in a single Gunmetal Gray shade.
Gigabyte Aorus 16X, Gigabyte G6X Specifications, Features
The Gigabyte Aorus 16X gaming laptops feature 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) displays with a 165Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification, and Pantone Validated color accuracy certification. The Gigabyte G6X laptops, on the other hand, feature 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) displays with a similar refresh rate and aspect ratio.
The Auros 16X series can be configured with up to Intel Core i9 CPUs, paired with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. Meanwhile, the Gigabyte G6X series comes with Intel Core i7 chips with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. The Gigabyte G6X laptops also offer Microsoft CoPilot features, while the Gigabyte Auros 16X comes with in-house AI Nexus technology.
Gigabyte also confirmed that the Auros 16X models will come with 3-zone RGB backlit keyboards, while the G6X variants will get 1-zone RGB backlit keyboards. The laptops will feature dual speakers, microphones, and Dolby Audio support. Connectivity options include support for up to Wi-Fi 7 and up to Bluetooth 5.4.
The Gigabyte Aorus 16X and Gigabyte G6X laptops are powered by 99Wh batteries with support for 100W PD charging and come with AC chargers up to 240W.
