The girlfriend of a British Superbikes driver who was murdered in a horrible 11-bicycle smash, suffered a double tragedy after he had also lost her previous boyfriend in a motorcycle accident nine years ago.
Shane Richardson, 29, and Owen Jenner, 21, died after a devastating Multi-Bike collision where 11 riders fall at the very first turn of Monday in Oulton Park, Cheshire.
The shocking crash, captured live on television, showed one rider who loses control to lower the bend on one – old hall – Hall Corner – before he hit the asphalt and in the path of other competitors.
What followed was a frightening chain reaction, in which several bicycles stacked together and one moisture when Medici rushed to the stage.
Among the fatalities was Mr. Richardson, who leaves two children and his partner, Hannah James, a former grid girl. In a heartbreaking tribute, she updated her profile photo with a photo of the couple, radiant to the camera with their children.
But in a tragic turn this is the second time that Mrs. James has lost a boyfriend during a motorcycle race. Her former partner, Billy Redmayne, died after a crash on the Oliver’s Mount Spring Cup in North Yorkshire in 2016.
Mr Redmayne was flown to the hospital, but his brain injuries were too serious to recover and he died surrounded by his loved ones, including Mrs. James, only 25 years old.
In 2016, Mr. Richardson had shared a photo of himself, Mrs. James and Mr Redmayne in a tribute after the death of the motorcyclist. Richardson would later date with Mrs. James, who has now lost two motorcycle partners in less than a decade.

Monday’s tragic crash was shown on live TV, but the Oulton Park event was then canceled when medical staff hurried to the scene.
Tom Tunstall, 47, was brought to Royal Stoke University Hospital with considerable back and abdominal injury. Five other riders were treated for minor injuries on the circuit, while three more escaped unharmed.
Shortly after the incident, the Motorcycle Circuit Racing Control Board and Motorsport Vision Racing published a statement that confirms that Mr. Richardson and Mr. Jenner had died of the injuries they suffered.
The explanation was: ‘At the start of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship Race in Oulton Park, who left Turn One, Old Hall Corner in the first round, there was an incident with the chain reaction in which 11 riders fall.
‘The race was stopped immediately and trackside medical services implemented.
‘Due to the extreme severity of the incident and the current medical intervention, the rest of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship event was canceled.
‘This catastrophic accident has led to two riders being fatally injured and another significant injury is being incurred.
